目的

To equip our community's service delivery professionals with tools and best practices to support those who face 心理健康 challenges. We seek to help professionals, who work with these individuals on a daily basis, gain a better understanding of the underlying issues of these individuals' behaviors, as well as how to best respond in a positive, 健康的, 而且是有影响力的方式. We also intend to provide attendees with information on local 心理健康 resources, as well as resources for continued learning opportunities. This year's Summit will focus on Connecting the Whole Body.

Allied health professionals are responsible for reviewing the governing rules of their board to determine if appropriate subject matter will apply for 继续教育.

This session will discuss the commonality and warning signs of problem gambling and compare the similarities and differences between substance use disorder versus gambling. You'll leave the session with information about treatment options and support for the problem in Iowa.

Mind-Body Connection: Putting it Together with 目的ful Practice

Knowing and doing are two different verbs. We all know the many things we can do for mindfulness, but rarely do we spend time in purposeful practice of it.
